Despite its common name Bog Sage it is a versatile plant that will grow in many soil types. A large salvia, it is excellent for filling large spaces in the background of cottage gardens. Attractive sky blue flowers form on long spikes and appear from late spring to autumn. Prune the plants to just above the ground when flowering finished.
