Deciduous. An erect growing medium to tall shrub. Flowers are produced in the early spring before the leaves appear yet continue after the leaves unfurl. A breathtaking sight when in flower this small tree is ideal for feature plantings.
Flowers: Large dark reddish purple blooms that can reach 200- 250cm in size.
